Your main role is to build up a comprehensive client portfolio of manufacturing companies within the UK market with future plans to move into Ireland & Holland.
Your role will be contacting large corporate manufacturing businesses, talking to their senior management, to offer them the opportunity to have a free article and case study in our magazine. This part is very much about volume of calls, tenacity and perseverance. If you can’t speak to the decision maker first time around, you need to keep trying. The article/case study is free, as long as the client is happy to provide you with a list of their suppliers and give permission to contact them about selling advertising and sponsorship. This list is then passed to the advertising sales team for them to sell advertising to the suppliers. (for the right person there is the opportunity to move into an advertising sales role in the future)…
You will also be responsible for cross selling any other services which may be relevant.
You will work from an in house database for which you will be responsible for updating but you will also take responsibility for researching and gaining a solid understanding of the market you are targeting with the ability to recognize opportunities of sectors which are current.
